After exploring the idea of a non-profit organization for youths, she found herself doing more and more consulting for the up and coming business owners. Her expertise in non-profit and grant writing spread throughout her colleagues and within the non-profit community. She discovered that most small businesses owners and entrepreneurs were not leveraging their companies for long-term success. This increased her passion to educate and assist the small businesses with building a more sustainable company

Meaning of the name
With understanding that the numeral 8 represents success, achievement, a new beginning, a change, and recognition of responsibility; we believe through empowerment and motivation we can increase the commitment needed to assist small businesses achieve, incorporate and develop the methods and strategies to prevent failure and increase overall success of small businesses.
The number 8 is the only number that continues to revolve; it has no end points. It represents success, achievement, a new beginning, enhancement, a change, an awakening, and recognition of responsibility. DEEP is a representation on a good steep, a firm foundation; planted to be difficult to be removed. 8Deep consultants have combined their education, skills, and work experience in an effort to educate, enhance and inspire Individuals, Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners with reaching their goals and aspirations as they embark on a new career/business journey.
